GT Haptik is a monolinear geometric grotesque typeface… it had me at geometric. It’s upper-case letter forms and numbers where created so they could be easily read when blindfolded. This has in turn led to the creation of exaggerated shapes being used to form the typeface. I would not call GT Haptik an “everyday” font, but rather a font to be used sparingly when you want to make a subtle impact. The proportional and flat styling of the font makes it strong, sturdy and robust. So maybe it’s not radical in the true sense of the word, but more in line with Bill & Ted’s usage…dudes.
