It’s always nice to get a bit of recognition and we’ve received our fair share in recent months. We entered a couple of jobs that we are really proud of into the International Hermes Creative Awards…and won not one but two awards! Our ‘gongs’ are on their way and we’ll be chuffed to display them on any and all occasions. In fact…we might even hook it on a chain. Overgold…
Our gold award was given to our Enfield Presents Magazine design. A culmination of a great branding project we completed with London Borough of Enfield to unify their arts and culture offering under one umbrella. Through our in-house branding exercise this organisation became ENFIELD PRESENTS and we also vamped up some of their major cultural venues; Millfield Theatre, The Dugdale and gave a new banner under which community arts projects can unite. The magazine was created as a borough wide cultural listings magazine with a unique local identity which housed and promoted local arts.
Our platinum award (canned applause…oh stop it, I’ll blush) was awarded for an internal communications campaign that we devised for Aon, a leading global professional services firm. Aon was going through a company wide cultural shift from a traditional to an agile workspace, meaning that employees would no longer be stationary or have their own allocated desk.
Recognising that some people may have reservations about this, the company wanted to create an internal communications campaign that would excite, inspire and educate the workforce and ease the transition to the new workspace model. Our ‘Lighter way of working’ campaign included posters, intranet communications, digital displays and animations. The scope of the work and tone of voice achieved was light, funny and informative and we worked in close harmony with the client to achieve the right tone of voice through the script writing and general copy.
The overall result was a winning combination of information and humour through all stages of the move. …Did I say the word ‘winning’?
