All computer hardware is encrypted to 256 bit with a software that is endorsed by the Ministry of Defence. Sensitive data is usually stored only on a desktop computer kept on premises that are locked and secured if unattended. All computers are password protected. All email transmissions are sent and received via a secure email server. Client data may be stored temporarily on portable devices to facilitate off-site meetings, and in such circumstances saved in encrypted volumes or on encrypted USB devices protected using real-time encryption software. Client data is deleted permanently from portable devices immediately after each use. Client data is deleted from desktop computers on a case by case basis having regard to the length of relationship and likelihood of further engagement.
