The objective was to provide clients within the Global Broking Centre’s industries with an overview of key information around the services and specialists within their sector in a concise, easily navigable way. We undertook extensive research with the Aon Global Broking Centre team to truly understand the aviation, aerospace and marine industries to ensure the expected objectives were met.
We used a restricted palette for the aerospace and aviation business sector, along with a defined image library to enhance a sense of ‘sector identity’ within the Aon brand hierarchy. This included the use of imagery with contrasting perspectives of global landscapes as seen from the point of view of a plane in flight, juxtaposed with close-up imagery of the planes and shuttles. This gave a feeling of connectivity and direction, while emphasing the detail and expertise of technical engineering. Each section was assigned a single colour which was used in striking blocks for the page dividers to create a strong visual navigation. A silk stock with a matte laminate cover provided a sophisticated, uncomplicated finish to the documents.
The Aon Global Broking Centre team were given an identity within the wider Aon corporate branding, allowing their services to stand out from the multitude of other services provided by the corporation as a whole. The annual reports were extremely well received by the client who have seen a strong increase in their client base and business growth year on year following the documents release.
