Coloplast develops products and services that make life easier for people with very personal and private medical conditions. Working closely with the people who use their products, they create solutions that are sensitive to their individual needs. The business includes ostomy care, urology and continence care, wound and skin care. Coloplast employs more than 10,000 people globally.

 

Coloplast approached us to design and artwork a complete suite of materials including leaflets and booklets, training aids and an interactive e-learning toolkit supplied on USB storage devices. They wanted to roll out a pan-European campaign to increase awareness surrounding self-catheterization issues in continence care for both patients and health care professionals. The brief was to create a fresh look and feel which appealed to both patients and HCPs whilst conforming to the Coloplast brand.

As well as designing and artworking all materials, we were also responsible for creating all 2D and 3D medical illustrations, as well as managing the printing of materials for delivery across 4 countries and developing master templates for use across Europe. The illustrations were bespoke, and we worked closely with Coloplast to ensure the approach was both prescriptive and informative, whilst being personable. We artworked materials into several languages, including Italian, French and Norwegian.

The project was very well received within the industry raising awareness and providing accessible information to self-catheterization patients and health care professionals.
