Following a successful creative pitch, we were chosen by Enfield Council to rebrand three of their four main venues; Millfield Theatre, the Dugdale and Enfield Festivals and to create two new brands; sports (Active Enfield) and the umbrella brand (Enfield Presents).

Our brief was to reflect the energetic spirit of each of the venues offerings in a modern way, while encapsulating the strong sense of tradition and essence of Bruce Forsyth, a celebrity local to Enfield.

We worked alongside the council, copywriters and members of the community to produce ‘Enfield Presents’, a name which gives a tangible sense that something is about to happen – a spectacle, a show, an event. It was important that the visual identity of Enfield Presents would support the venues own brands rather than outshine them. Our banded star structure provided the ideal form for encompassing and showcasing imagery within each of the venues own unique promotional materials and the pared-down palette was designed to underline venue brands rather than compete with them.

In creating a brand identity for each of the venues we looked to the types of events and classes provided and developed a logo, graphical elements and primary and secondary colour palette to highlight the purpose of each of the brands; Millfield Theatre – the home of pantomime and theatrical spectacle; The Dugdale – an experimental, shifting art and community space for performance and rehearsal; Enfield Festivals – an open forum for small community based events and Active Enfield – providing a range of fun and engaging sport, dance and health activities all year round for young people (ages 3 – 18), adults and over 50’s.

We provided the council with a complete set of brand guidelines in order for each venue to roll the new brand out across print and online materials.

Following this we were chosen to develop and build five new responsive websites using bespoke CMS, integrated with Enfield’s ticketing box office software, Spektrix.

The brand identity and websites for each of the venues have been extremely well received by the council, community members and general public.
